We are happy to announce that today is the start of the BMBF-funded project QUADRIGA. The data competency center QUADRIGA combines four disciplines: digital humanities and public administration, supported by computer and information science. It is situated in Berlin-Brandenburg and focuses on the three data types, text, tables and videos. Our role is the scientific co-lead of the project and to develop a navigator that gives an interactive overview of the learning materials available within QUADRIGA.

The Weizenbaum Library has successfully been launched. The Weizenbaum Library collects the scientific publications of the Weizenbaum Institute that are openly available, in particular journal articles, books, contributions to edited volumes, conference papers and research data.

Sonja Schimmler took on a visiting professorship at the Technical University of Berlin on 1. October 2023. In the coming years, she will set up and lead the ‘Research Data Infrastructure’ department at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. At the same time, she will continue to work as a research group lead at Fraunhofer FOKUS.
