Berlin University Alliance (BUA) - Excellency Initiative

The project A Digital Research Space for the BUA is part of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA). Our role is to lead the project and to develop a platform that allows to search and explore digital research artifacts, such as publications, data or scripts/code, that are available within the Berlin University Alliance. The platform is further meant to enable users to analyze and process the data.

NFDI4Cat: NFDI for Catalysis-related Sciences

The consortium NFDI for Catalysis-related Sciences (NFDI4Cat) is part of the NFDI initiative to build a German National Research Data Infrastructure. Our role is to lead the Task Area 'Linked Extensible Infrastructure and Access Management', to develop a local pilot at TU Berlin and a metaportal that serves as an access point for the community.

The consortium NFDI for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (NFDI4DataScience) is part of the NFDI initiative to build a German National Research Data Infrastructure. Our role is to coordinate the consortium and to develop a gateway and portal that serves as an access point for the community.

Base4NFDI: Basic Services for NFDI

The initiative Basic Services for NFDI (Base4NFDI) is part of the NFDI initiative to build a German National Research Data Infrastructure. Our role is to lead the Task Area 'Service Requirements, Design & Development', and to conduct accompanying research.

SEMIC: Semantic Interoperability Community

The Semantic Interoperability Community (SEMIC) develops solutions to help European public administrations perform seamless and meaningful cross-border and cross-domain data exchanges. Our role is to guide the development of a registry for semantic models.

QUADRIGA

Data Competency Center

BMBF (2023-2026)



The data competency center QUADRIGA combines four disciplines: digital humanities and public administration, supported by computer and information science. It is situated in Berlin-Brandenburg and focuses on the three data types, text, tables and videos. Our role is the scientific co-lead of the project and to develop a navigator that gives an interactive overview of the learning materials available within QUADRIGA.
